At London Orthodontic Clinic, we know that completing orthodontic treatment is only part of the journey. Retainers play a vital role in protecting your smile, helping teeth stay in their new position long after braces or aligners are removed.
We offer fixed (bonded) retainers and removable Vivera retainers, providing reliable, long-term retention for patients who want to maintain the results they’ve worked so hard to achieve. Our team supports patients across Central London, Angel, Old Street, City Road and Shoreditch with personalised retention plans designed around real life.

Fixed (Bonded) Retainers - A thin wire discreetly bonded behind the teeth, working continuously to hold them in position. This is a low-maintenance option for patients who prefer not to rely on daily wear.
Vivera® Retainers by Invisalign® - Our preferred removable retainer option. Vivera retainers are clear, comfortable and custom-made using advanced digital technology. They are more durable than standard clear retainers and come in multiple sets, giving you a reliable back-up and long-term peace of mind. Ideal after Invisalign or braces treatment.
If your retainer is lost, damaged or no longer fitting properly, contact us as soon as possible. Even if your treatment was completed elsewhere, we can help with replacement or new retainers.

Most patients start with full-time wear and move to night-time wear. Retention is a long-term part of orthodontic care, and your dentist will guide you on the best routine for you.
